Salaam Shalom is a project that brings together people of different faiths, with special focus on the Jewish-Muslim relations in Europe. Violence and wars around the world can create a segregation between these two communities, and media can help spread this fear by reporting on the rise of anti-Semitism and Islamophobia in Europe. By holding Salaam Shalom themed events, we tell the world that we are not enemies and we wish to live together peacefully.
Projects under Salaam Shalom have included conferences and meetings in Denmark with NGOs from around Europe, including Sweden, France and Germany, who came to Copenhagen to share best practice from their inter-faith and intercultural work.
Salaam Shalom is an ongoing project and included events like inter-faith Passover seder, held between 2015 and 2018.
